The trial of tears was the government removing many tribes from southern states. -
Jim Thorpe
Jim thorpe won gold in 1912. He became the first president of the American Professional Football Association on 1920 to 1921. Played with the New York GIants between 1913 and 1919. A pennsylvania town was named after him. Jim was also added into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. -

The land rush was a series of events that started in 1889 when the government gave out free land to people so they would settle out west. -

The dust bowl was many severe dust storms and droughts. It was fixed by the government by teaching farmers new techniques. -
Oklahoma City Bombing
The Oklahoma City Bombing was a domestic car bombing destroying half of the Alfred P Murrah building. The people who did the crime was Timothy Mcveigh and Terry Nichols.
