Teen-aged

-Stewed or jellied fruits ( have tons of sugar)
-High-sugar fruit and soda drinks.
-Full-fat cheese, milk.
-Anything thats fried
-High sugar items (ice cream, cookies, brownies, cakes)
Special Nutritional Needs:
- Teenagers gain about 20% of adult height and 50% of adult weight around this age.
- Growth and change is rapid during this period, the requirements for all nutrients increase. Calcium and iron increase the most. -
Adults
FOODS TO AVOID:
-Homemade Caesar salad dressing and mayonnaise
-Uncooked cake batter and cookie dough
-Poached eggs, eggs Benedict, undercooked (runny) scrambled eggs
-Raw or undercooked seafood,fish,poultry

Older Adults
