    Nora Ephron attended Wellesley College in Massachusetts. She graduated in 1962 with a Bachelors degree in Journalism and soon moved back to New York where she felt most at home to continue her career.

    Once back in New York, in 1963 Ephron worked for many magazine companies such as Newsweek and the New York Post. She eventually became the senior editor and columnist for Esquire and created her own satirical magazine during the newspaper strikes which helped land her the job as a reporter for the New York Post.
