Chomsky’s Universal Grammar
It was previously thought that children learned to speak from their parents by watching, listening, and repeating. Chomsky theorized acquiring language was not that simple. When speaking there are a number of combinations, elements, tones, and structures that are used. This can greatly affect the way we think about acquiring knowledge.

Science, Mind, and Limits of Understanding
Going along with his many thought on language, he takes a look at how Descartes approached his scientific theory of mind and body. He examines how Descartes got there by reflecting on what he knows. Breaking Descartes's process gives an insight into the limits of our understanding. Chomsky, N. (2014, January). Science, Mind, and Limits of Understanding.
