    Andrew Carnegie was born in Scotland on November 25, 1835. He immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 12. He grew up working in a cotton mill and later as a telegrapher. His first major job was helping build bridges, but the iron used to build them was too weak. So, he decided to make steel and that is how he made his fortune. He died on August 11, 1919

    Joseph Pulitzer was born on April 10, 1847 in Hungary. He moved to St. Louis when he was a young man and started doing journalism there. He became and accomplished journalist and moved to New York, but was known for often using yellow journalism. He ended up dying on October 29, 1911 from old age.

    Theodore Roosevelt was born on October 27, 1848 in New York City. Roosevelt was very intellectual, even at a young age. He grew up and went to law school and became a Colonel in the war in Cuba. After he returned, he became the governor of New York. Then in 1901, he was the vice president, and after McKinley was assassinated, he became the president. He ended up serving two terms. Years after his presidency he died on January 6, 1919
