Man ahead of his time, died on 7 January 1943 in new York. His memory is perpetuated in the names of streets, the airport in the Belgrade suburb of Surcin, monuments in Belgrade and Baku. Tesla's name is called the unit of magnetic induction in the SI system. His image is displayed on the Serbian banknotes.
