Disneyland Opens
A location of at least 160-acres was found in Los Angeles, California. Construction began July 21, 1954 and finished July 17, 1955. In the end the total cost of this project was around $17 million. Disneyland became open to the public on July 18, 1955 with an entrance fee of only $1.
