Between 1911-1962 Bohr would accomplish many things in his field of study. In 1922 he was awarded the Nobel Prize for his studies and findings on the structure of atoms. In the 1930's Bohrs studies were more focused on the constitution of the atomic nuclei and the transmutations and disintegrations. During World War II, Bohr fled to Sweden and during the last two years of the war he spent time in England and America. He became part of the Atomic Energy Project during this time.
