    Purpose of Act:
    To direct the trade between England and the Colonies
    Outcome of Act:
    This Angered the colonists and bagan smuggling
  • Proclamation of 1763

    Proclamation of 1763
    Purpose of Act:
    This set the Applachian Mtns as a temporary boundary
    Outcome of Act:
    Angered colonists and soon this cuased conflicts between the Britsh and the colonists
  • Sugar Act

    Sugar Act
    Purpose of Act:
    To have the colonist pay the tax because it was lowered and to keep from smuggling
    Outcome of Act:
    Thought it was a voilation of their rights
  • Stamp Act

    Stamp Act
    Purpose of Act:
    To place a tax on all legal and prtinted documents
    Outcome of Act:
    Angered Colonosts and they protested this Act and got it replealed Also made Sons of Liberty and Daughters of Liberty
  • Declaratory Act

    Declaratory Act
    Purpose of Act:
    Parliament declared the right to tax and make decisions for the British colonists
    Outcome of Act:
    Angered colonists
  • Townshend Acts

    Townshend Acts
    Purpose of Act:
    To tax goods such as glass, tea and paper and that tax had to be paid at the port of entry
    Outcome of Act:
    Angered colonists and they started thinking only their represenatives had the right to tax them
  • Tea Act

    Tea Act
    Purpose of Act:
    To keep The Britsih East India Company from going under and facing bankruptcy and they got to control the trade on tea in America
    Outcome of Act:
    Angered colonists so they ordered a new boycott

    Purpose of Act:
    Harsh laws to punish people in Massachusetts for resisting British laws
    Outcome of Act:
    Angered colonists and they did not want to shelter the soldiers
  • Quebec Act

    Quebec Act
    Purpose of Act:
    To set up a goverment for Quebec and Quebec got land west of the Appalchian Mtns and north of the Ohio River
    Outcome of Act:
    Angered colonists and they expressed their feelings in THEIR name for the new laws
