The day after Pearl Harbor occured the United States declared war on Japan. -
Curfew Imposed
Before the governmnet put anyone in camps, they inforced a curfew where the Japanese decendants coldn't be outside their homes between 8PM and 6AM. -

President Roosevelt signs the order to allow the detainment of 120,000 people of Japanese ancestry. As well as the permission to create military areas and evacuate all people living in those areas. -

Tule Lake Camp For Disloyals
The Tule Lake camp in California is changed from a general relocation camp, to a camp for people who were decided as disloyal because of their test results. The original interenees at Tule Lake are transferred to other camps. -
Internees Arrested
315 male internees are taken into custody after refusing to attend their physical examine for the Army -
Camp Closing Announceent
The WRA announces that all relocation camps are to be closed before 1946. The only camp allowed to stay open is Tule Lake which will remain functional until 1947. -

The United States dropped the first of two atomic bombs on Hiroshima. -
