Powell Arrives
David Herold stays outside of the Seward household to serve as guard for his and Powell's horses. Powell creates a small package to use as a prop. -
Powell knocks and Seward's door
A household servant, William Bell, answers the door. Powell explains how he is to deliver the medicine Seward's doctor has given him. Powell also demands to deliver it himself. -
Powell Makes His Way up the Main Stairs
Fredrick Seward confronts Powell and starts to tell him that he will either leave or surrender the medicine. Powell then begins to try and shoot Fredrick but misfires. He then attacks Fredrick with the butt of his gun and jams the revolver as well. He throws away his gun and equips his knife. -
Powell Enters the Secretary's Room
Powell Then pushes through Fanny Seward and retired veteran, Sergeant Robinson who were acting as nurses for the Secretary. Powell than tries to kill the Secretary with his knife but fails twice. On His third strike his slices Seward's cheek. -
Powell Runs
After Powell strikes the secretary both the recently awoken Augustus and Robinson attack Powell. However, Powell manages to escape the two and runs out into the street. He finds to see that David Herold had already left. Powell decides to leave as well so he mounts his horse and trots away.
