    Ku Klux Klan Is Established
    A group of former Confederate soldiers are unhappy with the news of the Union winning the war and set out to end the Reconstruction of the South through means of engaging in campaigns of terror, violence, and murder against people of color.
  • Segregation is Introduced, KKK Falls

    The Civil Rights Act of 1875, while erected, guaranteed all citizens, regardless of color, access to accommodations, theatres, public schools, churches, and cemeteries, but didn't grant many ways for the governnent to implement this down south. A segregation system was introduced in Louisiana in 1890, granting whites and people of color their own spaces, and became widespread, resulting the need for violence to dwindle for the KKK.
  • Ku Klux Klan Resurgance

    Ku Klux Klan Resurgance
    In February of 1915, the film "Birth of a New Nation" is released, a film which not only portrayed black people and people of color as dangerous, but glorified the KKK, leading to a resurgance in activities involving the KKK.
  • Assembly of Christian Soldiers is Established

    The resurgance of the group led to multiple subgroups being created, including the Assembly of Christian Soldiers in 1971, at its peak possessing over 3000 members across states such as Alabama, Georgia, and Mississipi.
  • Steady Decline

    The KKK has significantly declined from where it first began, given the incredible outreach of social media to inform others, in addition to the firm laws and regulations placed against the KKK group as a whole. With this reliance on the KKK, the Assembly of Christian Soldiers has fallen from public eye.
