    The united state joined world war 2 in 1941 after the attack on pearl harbor.

  • Abq Air Base

    The Abq air base was used for the people from NM who were frlying planes to land when they were fighting in WW2.

  • Code Talkers

    During WW2 the were 400 Navajo code talkers asigned to go on land because of there skin colors so the japanese didnt kill them.

  • Japenes Inernment Camps

    After the attack on pearl harbor the US made japense Internment Camps because they could not trust them any more, these camps were located in New Mexico, the most known one is located in Santa Fe.

  • Atomic Age

    The first atomic bomb was tested and droped at the Trinity Site on July 16, 1945, The Trinity site was located in Socorro, New Mexico.

  • Atomic Bomb Droped

    On August 6 1945, A B-29 droped the worlds fisrt atomic bomb on Japanese city of Hiroshima, which killed thousands of people. three days later another bomb was droped on Nagasaki also killing thousands. the japanese then surendered.
