Insured home loans for building and rapairing homes. Gave peace of mind to new home owners. -

Regulated stock market and restricted buying stocks on credit to prevent another collaspe of the economy. -
Social Security Administration
Provided pensions, unemployment, diability pay, and money to help with the raising of children. -
Banking Act of 1935
Created a board to control nations money with all the new acts that would cost the nation a lot of money. -
United States Housing Authority
Provided loans for chaper and lower intrest home owning. -
Fair Labor Standards Act
Established the first minimum wage and max 40 hours per week. Set rules for employment of the younger generation and set that anyone who works over 40 hours must get time and a half.
