Founded in 1933. In the new deal this was used to make sure banks invested at least 2,500 dollars. Now it is a place to safely deposit your savings. -
Federal housing authority
Founded in 1934. The federal housing authority was used in the new deal to insure house loans. Today it has changed its name but still provides mortgage insurance. -
Security & exchange commission
Founded in 1934. This was used in the new deal to help people get out of the economic depression. Today it helps enforce security laws. -
Puerto Rico reconstruction administration
This foundation during the new deal was used to help strengthen bonds between the United States and Puerto Rico. Today it is non existent as it was shut down in 1955. -
Federal crop insurance corporation
Founded in 1880. This program was used during the new deal to give farmers compensation for crops even if they were not all eaten. Today it is still used to help farmers get money for crops. -
National Labor Relations Board
Founded in 1935. During the new deal time this helped people unionize easier. Today it makes it so if a group unionizes they have rights even without a union rep. -
Social security act
Established in 1935. During the new deal this program created social security with people retiring. Today it still provides security to people that are retiring. -
Fair labor standards act
Commissioned in 1938. This act made it so there was a minimum wage, no child labor, and time and a half. Today it still does the exact same thing with wages.
