    The Pequot tribe defended thier land when the colonists invaded, but the tribe was completely killed off when the war ended.

    Many tribes in southern new england united under a man from the Wampanoag tribe to end further enchroachment from the white men. The war, like most other wars, was quick and bloody with casualtys on both sides. The native americans lost, ending the alliances and the Wampanoag tribe, and loosing more land in the proccess.

    The last major racial conflict between native americans and white people. U.S. soldiers shot at members of the Sioux tibe, who believed in a prophecy predicting the equallity of the native americans and the white people.
