Henry Ford's Assembly line
During the 1920's the United States had seen it's first automobile with a combustion engine. As more machines were being invented, people continued looking for ways to increase productivity. Which lead to the creation of the assembly line. This process spread to many different industries, and it helped turn the United States into a major economic power.

First US Radio Station
The Radio Industry in America began in 1913 when American engineer, Edwin Armstrong, invented a special circuit that made long-range radio transmission of voice and music practical. The radio station KDKA, which broadcasted from the rooftop of a Westinghouse Electric building in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania became the first licensed commercial radio station to produce a news program. The Traffic Light
Garrett Morgan, a newspaperman, had been patented the electric automatic traffic signal. The signal Morgan patented was a T-shaped pole with three settings.This was not the first traffic light ever but it held great significance. William Potts a Detroit police officer had developed several automatic traffic light systems, including the first three-color signal, which added a yellow caution light.

First Liquid Rocket
Robert H. Goddard launched the world’s first liquid-propellant rocket. It burned for 20 seconds before gaining the strength to lift itself off the launch rack. The North American Space Association (NASA) still use it today. The rocket took off from afield outside Worcester, Massachusetts, gaining a height of 12 meters. Henry Ford built his first automobile while working as a engineer at the Edison Illuminating Company in Detroit,Michigan. The Invention of the first car had a great impact on people it made life easier by making transportation faster. It was also sold for an affordable price for everyone. The majority of Americans had a Model T, which started the numbered highways.
