This was a political success due to the fact that this was the turning event in terms of Napoleon's climb to emperor. Once he made the jump from General to First Consul, he had the power to assume he role of an emperor.

    The Bank of France was founded in Paris and is the central bank of France. Before the bank was created, the financial power of France was within 10+ banking houses that with founders that were involved with the rise of the French Revolution. When the revolution got out of hand, the founders supported the rise of Napoleon and in return Napoleon gave them the leadership of the Bank of France. This was an economic success because it was a big part of France's economic recovery from the revolution.

    SOCIAL SUCCESS The Concordat was an event of which Napoleon and Pope Pius VII of which made The Roman Catholic Church the majority church of France. This was a social success because if the people of France knew that it some way, shape, or form the church "supports" Napoleon, the people will trust him more and will be willing to grant him more power. Napoleon did this for that exact reason. If the people knew that Napoleon "supports" Catholicism, they will "approve" of him and trust him.

    SOCIAL SUCCESS The legion of Honour was a award given to men who performed outstanding services to the state such as civil service and the army .This was a way to encourage people to be more patriotic about their nation. This sparked a spirit of dedication for France. While speaking of the success of his policy, Napoleon stated "Men are led by toys". This was a social success because when French saw all these people being rewarded for serving their country, they were inspired to do it as well.

    POLITICAL SUCCESS The Constitution of the Year X made Napoleon First Consul for life. The Constitution of the Year XII created the First French Empire with Napoleon being named Napoleon I, The Emperor of the French. It also established The House of Bonaparte, making it so the Napoleon Family is the dynasty. This was a political success for Napoleon because it gave Napoleon, as well as his family, control of France and secured power. (For Now).

    ECONOMIC SUCCESS The Louisiana Purchase was the the United States purchasing the state of Louisiana from France/Napoleon for $15,000,000 for 530,000,000 acres of land. Napoleon decided to sell Louisiana due to the inability to shut down a revolt in Saint-Domingue as well as reoccurring warfare with Britain. This purchase was a political success for Napoleon because it brought more wealth to france that would be used to fuel the growing army.

    SOCIAL SUCCESS In 1803, Napoleon started a tariff law to slow exportation of goods to protect French infant industries. Napoleon also reduced the burden of taxes on French men by heavily increasing taxes of conquered states such as Italian states. This was a social success for Napoleon because the working men of France appreciated him for protecting their companies and reducing their taxes.

    SOCIAL REFORM SUCCESS The Civil Code (renamed Code Napoleon in 1807) was a major reform of French laws and legal systems. It eliminated 300+ legal systems and put forth the idea that the principle of equality over law for all. It also safeguarded the right profession and abolished Feudalism. This a social success because it made one legal system for the French people to follow instead of having hundreds of legal systems spread around France.

    POLITICAL SUCCESS The Coronation of Napoleon I took place at the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Napoleon crowned himself Emperor to solidify his power and make it official. For legitimacy reasons regarding the French people, Napoleon invited Pope Pius VII to the coronation and to crown him. As a passive aggressive act of superiority, Napoleon took the crown and placed it on his own head. This was a slight at the church and showed Napoleon was indeed above the church.

    MILITARY SUCCESS The Battle of Austerlitz is one of the most important triggers of the Napoleonic wars for how decisive and important it was. It is widely regarded as the greatest victory achieved by Napoleon for how his Grand Army of France defeated a much larger Austrian and Russian armies led by Emperor Alexander and Emperor Francis II. This was a military success for Napoleon because when he took out both armies, it expanded his empire greatly which gave him more power as well as allies.

Napoleon brought in land reforms, encouraged improved drainage systems, and promoted using a variety of crops. During his reign, France's crop production numbers skyrocketed. This was a political success because as Napoleon promoted and encouraged agriculture, it became more popular and made more money.

    MILITARY SUCCESS The Battle of Friedland was a r spark of the Napoleonic Wars between the army of the French Empire and armies of the Russian Empire. After Napoleon's big victory in the battle, the political establishment of Russia decided that peace was necessary. This ended the 4th Coalition and Alexander I unwillingly made peace with Napoleon. This was a military success for Napoleon and France because this crucial battle ended the 4th coalition and gave France new alliances.
