This is the start of Napoeleon's military career and education, supporting the future events that he will be involved in.

Movement to overthrow King Louis XVI. One of the first revolutions that started his military career.

Napoleon was assigned to work for the map department for the French war office, after being imprisoned.

Napoleon meets Josephine de Beauharnais and gets married.

Starts new command of the Army of Italy. French troops advanced into Vienna and Austria and Napoleon eventually signed the treaty that gave France control of Italy.

Became head of the governement, overthrowing the Directory and had unlimited powers.

Along with creating Code Napoleon he also reorganized the education system, the legal system, established a bank, and restored harmony between the catholic church and French government.

The Continetal System was the start of Napoleon's downfall. With the French occupied with the Spanish and English troops Russia decided to no longer cooperate with the Continental System forcing Napoleon into a war that he eventually lost due to lack of supplies, cold weather, and disease.

By June Napoleon has stepped down from power and regained power only to be exciled for the second time to the island of St. Helena where he eventually died.
