    This event was when Napoleon became general of the French army. This event is significant because it led to all of the Napoleonic wars. Another reason it is significant is because he would be in charge of the army.

    This event was during World War II. Some of the countries that were involved were, Italy, Germany, the U.S, and Great Britain. This event is significant because France got more resources.

    This event was when Napoleon signed an agreement with the pope that gave him support of the organized church. It's significance is that the church got back some power and Napoleon got some power too.

    This was a set of laws which gave French citizens the same rights, but the new laws took away some individual rights that were won during the French Revolution. The Napoleonic code is significant because it took away rights that were won during the revolution so, part of the revolution didn't even matter.

    This event took place over a time period. It happened during 1806-1807. The Continental System was a policy that stopped trade to and from Britain. This is extremely significant because it made France weaker. Some Europeans betrayed their own country and secretly brought Britain some things. The British navy was so strong that it worked well and weakened France.

    This event was when France invaded Russia. It is significant because Napoleon lost a lot of his army which made France a lot weaker than it already was. He went into Russia with 40,000 men and came back with only 10,000 that were able to keep fighting. He lost a lot of his army in the battle.

    This event was when Napoleon was defeated and there was not much french power left in Germany and Poland. This event is significant because France was becoming weaker and it was a very important battle.

    This is an island that Napoleon was sent to. He was exiled form France to Elba. This event is significant because he was no longer the general or emperor. He then later escaped and came back to France. The French citizens welcomed him back and the was once again in control of France.

    This is a battle between France and Britain. Napoleon ended up being defeated again by Britain. This event is significant because since he was defeated, he would be exiled once again, and he would be sure to never return to France.

    Napoleon is exiled to St. Helena
    This was a far off island that Napoleon was exiled to after his defeat at the battle of Waterloo. This event is extremely significant because Napoleon would no longer be able to escape and come back to France. He lasted six years on the island before he died.

    This event was when Napoleon died in St. Helena. He died of stomach ulcer otherwise known as stomach cancer. This event is significant because this was the end of Napoleon's life and he would never see France again.
