Napoleon's Schooling
At the age of 10, Napoleon was allowed to enter into French military School. While at school he earned the nickname "Little Corporal" for his infamous smaller size. This name-calling did not stop Napoleon from receiving an excellent education and in 1885 he was commission as a French artillery officer.

Military Promotion

Napoleon becomes First Consul
After Russian and Austrian armies threatened to invade France, Napoleon returned to France from battle and overthrew the Directory. In 1804, a new constitution established Napoleon Emperor of the French. Napoleon then summoned the pope to Notre Dame to take part in the coronation. Land Warfare Domination

Napoleon Remarried

Napoleon steps down
In March 1814, the armies of Britain, Prussia, Sweden, and Austria, took control of Paris and forced Napoleon to step down as Emperor. Battle of Waterloo

Napoleon's Death
Napoleon spent his reaming years exiled on St. Helena, in the South Atlantic Ocean. He would pass away from cancer on May 5, 1821.
