In November of 1799 Napoleon used coup d'etat bringing absolute monarchy to constotutional monarchy. He did this to overthrow the government to claim the power for himself. This was a political victory for Napoleon. -

Napoleon is named first consul
In the 1800s, Napoleon was named first consul by the head general in France. He then became Frances political figure who gained the most publicity. This was a big accomplishment for Napoleon. This is considered a social reform. -
Napoleons forces defeat the austrians
Napoleons army in 1800 defeated the Austrians and drove them off the Italian Puninsula. Napoleon lead this army and their attack, it was his first time doing so as well. This was the first of many military achievements for France. -
Napoleon returns to war with Britain, Russia, and Austria
This was caused because France sold its North American Louisiana territory to US for 15 million dollars. This was called the Louisiana Purchase. Then, Napoleon brought his forces back to war with Britain, Russia, and Austria. This was a military achievement. -
Napoleon becomes emporer
In 1804, Napoleon crowned himself the emperor of Europe. He did this because he wanted to show that he was not to be submissive to anyone except himself. He wanted to be his own ruler. Napoleon then began to expand his European empire further. This was a HUGE political acomplishment. -
Napoleon inforces the Napoleonic Code
On March 24 of 1804, Napoleon decided it was time for a change. He wrote and decided new rules, or a "code" that all under his rule would suffice to. He had very particular rules, on it, but none of which I can find listed from a trusting source. This is a social reform. -
Head of republic government
In France in April of 1805, Napoleon was granted to be head of the Republic counsil within France. This was a huge economic success because Napoleon did much to help the poorer classes of France. -

Napoleon socially was very popular to France because he did so much for their economy. By making the Napoleonic code, he actually helped give France order. -
Napoleon invades Russia
In June of 1812, Napoleon launched an attack against Russia. Though Napoleon had an amazing Navy, Russia has a spectacular Army. This was the "Beginning of the end" as many say, for Napoleon.This goes under "economic success" for Napoleon because it would have been a bug deal if he had been successful. -
Battle of Waterloo
On the day of April 6 1814, Napoleon brought his troops to a battle against the Prussians. This ended in an embarassing lost for France and the blame was put on Napoleon. The French suffered from 30,000 cassualties including people dead, people heald hostage, and people wounded.
