During my first year of teaching, I had access to the SmartBoard, Document camera and five computers. These were the only technology devices that were in my classroom. I used them daily. But I did not fully use them to their potential nor did I know what my students could do with the technology that I had.

My classroom received 10 Kindles and 10 Kindle cases from our Donor's Choose Project. This allowed for more opportunities in the classroom in all subject areas.

I became aware of all the incredible individuals and educators who share their wonderful thoughts and strategies with others. I began to quickly build my PLN. This introduced me to so much more with technology.

This year, I finally started using Google Classroom with my students. I had heard so many positive things about it that I finally decided it was time to try it! My students love learning and collaborating with their peers through technology.
