    The first flat screen TV was released by by a company called Fujitsu. the TV was a 42 inch TV and weighed over 40 pounds! Much heavier than modern flat screen tvs today weigh.

    The GameBoy color releases worldwide. It would end up selling well over 100 millions units

    Steve Jobs unveils the iPod, Apple's big step into the music industry. It was the biggest rival and competitor to the CD player and walkman and would revolutionize the music world. It was sadly discontinued in 2022 after 21 years of different iterations on the market.

    Another Apple invention, Steve Jobs would unveil and ultimately release the iPhone in 2007. While this smartphone wasn't like the ones we know today, it would ultimately change the cell phone world as we knew it. This product may ultimately become one of the biggest and most influential devices ever created when we look back years from now

    Netflix officially goes digital and streaming! While the company was founded back in 1997 as a mail service, Netflix made the big transition to digital in 2010. It has become one of, if not the biggest streaming service in the entire world. Nearly every major channel from cable has transitioned into some form of a digital subscription service since the success of Netflix
