Piano at 8 years old
Before my I turned 8, I asked my parents if I could get and piano when it's my birthday. I've always wanted to play the piano at the church my family went to when we lived in Philly. I'd would sneak into music area (as well as other kids) when service was over, because they wouldn't let any children at all near the instruments.( later they unplugged the instruments and i couldn't figure out how to get it back on). -
Music as a Kid
I didn't really do much outstanding in music at the elementary school in Philly, music class was just one of the many specials that the class went to each week. we learn a couple things, but nothing to amazing stood out. I didn't do anything musical until after moving and attending Simons elementary in Clayton, where parents got to see the songs the kids practiced in class during their yearly spring concert.. -

Piano Lessons At Resonance School of Music
Saint Michaels went through a lot of music teachers when I was there, I remember the first and the last music teacher that taught music and choir. it was the last music teacher who owned Resonance School of music, who recommended I go there to learn more about the piano. I learned many classical pieces, went to recitals, and had an overall great experience there. -

Joined the choir at Spring of Hope Church
some time during the later part of the first half of my freshman year at pitman high school. I joined the choir at Spring of Hope Church (it's a Nigerian church but anyone is welcome). They needed a pianist at the time, I wasn't that good but over time I became better ( the piano lessons helped). -
