In 2001, my parents decided to get dial-up internet on our desktop. We couldn't use the internet and the phone at the same time, and my sister and I constantly fought over the phone and AOL chats! -
My First Cell Phone
In 2003, my parents gave me my first Nokia cell phone. It had a huge antenna and only one game on it. I couldn't text, but I had it for after school activities and emergencies only. -
First Laptop
In 2006, my sister graduated from high school, and my parents bought her a laptop for graduation. Although she was supposed to use it for college, we used it for messaging, Facebook, and other social media networking. -
First Cordless Phone
In 2007, my parents finally decided to get a cordless phone that could be used throughout the entire house, instead of the wall phones in the kitchen, laundry room, and their bedrooms. We got a cordless phone in the kitchen, living room, their bedrooms, and the basement. -
First Texting/Smart Phone
In 2008, I got my first smart phone. With this phone, I could browse the internet, and text my friends.
