Stony Brook University Preschool
Working at a preschool for 3, 4, and 5 year olds is what initially got me interested in teaching. I began volunteering here in the fall of 2003 as I thought it would be great experience working with children. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and often look back at it with fond memories.

Substitute Teaching
Upon finishing my Masters Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, I knew substitute teaching would provide me with valuable experience and help prepare me for when the time came for me to have my own class. I began substituting in three different school districts, two on Long Island and the other in New York City. I substitute taught for roughly 6 months before being hired that summer to teach elementary school in Queens, NY.

P.S. 13Q
I began teaching in New York City in September of 2005. I taught 4th grade at P.S. 13Q Clement C Moore in Elmhurst, New York. I would go on to teach here for a total of 5 years before relocating to the central coast of California. http://schools.nyc.gov/schoolportals/24/q013/default.htm -
Roosevelt
In the summer of 2010 I decided to relocate to California. I spent 1 year teaching a 5th/6th grade combination class at Roosevelt Elementary School in Salinas, California. I enjoyed my time at Roosevelt fondly and learned a lot in the time I was there. http://ca-salinascityschools.civicplus.com/index.aspx?NID=101 -
Beverly Vista
In the summer of 2011 I decided to move again, this time to southern California. It had always been a dream of mine to live and work in the Los Angeles area. I was very fortunate to get a job teaching 5th grade at Beverly Vista Elementary School in Beverly Hills, California. This is where I currently teach and I absolutely love it! http://bv.bhusd.org/
