Kates Leukemia
At the age of two Kate Fitzegerald is diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia a cancer that affects the blood. This sets the sence in which most of the book is based around. -
Anna is born
Anna the younger sister of Kate is a designer baby produced in a lab with Kate's genetics. She was born for the purpose to help Kate and to be used as a donar. -
Lawsuit
At the age of thirteen Anna descides she has had enough. She hires a lawyer and wants to sue her parents for legal emancipation or the rights of her own body -
Firestation
Because of the lawsuit Annas mom is furious and one day slaps Anna which causes her to run out of the house to her dads work. There she meets him and they spend the night sleeping at the firestation. -
Annas Life
Throughout Anna's whole life since she was born she has been a donar for her sister Kate. Whenever Kate was hospitalized Anna would most likely end up in the hospital too. -
Anna Dies
When i read this i originally thought Kate was going to be the one to die and not Anna. Anna dies at the end of the book due to a car crash. She is rushed to the hospital in an ambulance after the crash but unfortunatly does not make it
