Matilda
This is a good book I would recomend it to kids.It's about a young girl who has a mean family,with a brother,mum and dad that don't care about her.Her teacher is nice but her principal wasn't.Her principal was mean to her, Matilda started to play tricks on her principal and her family,Her principal blamed her for everything but Matilda didnt own up!In the end her principal got scared and ran away,her family ran away to because they got in trouble with the law so matilda lived with her teacher. -
Skipper and Sky
I would recommend this book to children. It’s about a kitten Sky and her friend Skipper he is a lighthouse dog. Sky had wanted to go to sea and one day she did, she hid under a wooden deck on Joes boat her owner. They were far out when Joe spotted Sky he couldn’t take her back, they were too far out. It got very foggy, Joe couldn’t see where he was going he couldn’t see the lighthouse light to guide them home then Sky heard Skipper barking so Sky and Joe followed Skippers voice they were saved! -
The BFG
This is a great book it is about a big friendly giant, who takes a girl from her home and takes her to his home. She can't tell anyone that she saw him or else all the giants will be hunted down! There are mean giants who eat children so if they see her she will be eaten so the giant and tries to hide her from them! I would deffinitly recomend this for kids ! -
Georges marvellous medicine
THis book is about a young boy called George who is fed up with his Grandma giving him orders, so he decides to make a special medicine so she stops being such a mean crabby grandma. He puts everything he can find into a big pot then he boils it all up and gives it to his grandma. There was an amazing result she started to get very hto that smoke was coming out of ehr ears and then she satrted to grow she grew and grew until she was taller than the roof she was higher than a 3 storied house! -
The Mouse Island Marathon
This book is about a young mouse, Geronimo who is not into sport he is a News paper writer. His friend enters him in a marathon and he didn't even no about it until he told him. Every morning Geronimo had to get up VERY EARLY to run around the block with his friend telling him to go faster and run harder. When he was running in the marathon alot of things slowed him down like people needed help with alot of things. In the end he got chased by a HUGE cat which made him run fast to the end. -
James and the giant peach
James had to live with his horrible Aunties they torchid him they never let him play with his friends.One day James was outside an old man came to him,he had little green stones in his hand he said take these stones and you will never be sad again.James took them.When he was going back to the house he tripped and all the stones sunk into the ground under a peach tree it made the peach grow.He went to the to peach and he found a hole he went inside it he found alot of creatures in there. -

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
I would recomend this book to all ages. A young boy who lives in a small house with his mum, dad and 2 grandmas and 2 grandpa's (one of his grandpa's worked in the chocolate factory). They were not very wealthy.There was a competition going on at the chocolate factory, if you found a gold ticket in a chocolate bar then you won a day at the chococlate factory. One day he found money on the ground so he went and bought a chocolate, there was a gold ticket! -
Starring Tracy Beaker
This book is called Starring Tracy Beaker written by Jacqueline Wilson As Tracy preparers for her main role in the school production cam her foster mum helps her learn her lines but all Tracy wants to know is if her famous movie star mum will come to watch her in her starring role. My opinion is that it is a great book I would I recommend it both genders and people aged around 10-13. -

This book is about to girls named Sophie and Jessica they went to their nana’s house where their nana gave them a locket Sophie decides to sleep with it. She magically travels back to 1858! I really enjoyed this book I would recommend to kids from 11-13. -
Vicky Angel
This book is about a young girl and her best freind.I would deffinetly reccomendd this to intermediate ages and below. Vicky and Jade were best friends, one day Vicky died in a car accident. Jade was very very upset. Then one day Vicky appears to Jade as a ghost but only Jade can see her. She was having so much fun with her as being a ghost but because only she could see her everyone thoguht she was crazy! And Vicky had changed since she had gone, she wasn't the best friend that Jade remembered -

Toothache tree
This is a fantastic book I would recomend it to intermediate and above.Its about a rich young boy who's parents don't care about him at all.One day he got kidnapped by a man.Days went by and the parents didnt even notice he was gone.The kid and the kidnapper got close they started to like each other. One day they went into the bush and the boy got bitten by a snake, he ws going to die,but wiht the barb off a toothache tree he was saved.They went away together, they were best buds. (:
