My grandfather Aamer Dad Khan from my dad's side fought with the Britsh in WWII against the Germans
My grandfather was born to a poor tailor framily in Hydrabad,Andhra Pradesh. After his father's death he had to pursue the family business and look after his family. His tailor business wasn't much successful in order to support his family. So, he joined the British army(who at that time had a long Indian officer enlistment) to get a good payment to support his family.He then travelled overseas to Germany to fight with the British army in WWII and successfully got out of there alive. -
My Dad gets a job in Saudi Arabia
My dad studied mechancial engineering in Aligarh muslim university for 4 years and graduated with honors. He applied to a company in Saudi Arabia after his gradutation and got accepted. Then he came to Saudi Arabia and settled there due to his job. -
My Parents get married
My dad came to India to spent his vacation and got married to my mother. After marriage he settled in Saudi Arabia with my mother. -
I was born
I was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. My parents decided to visit the holy muslim city of Mecca and I was born right after my parents arrived in Riyadh. -
My family immigrated to Canada
On June 19, 2010 my family moved to Canada for a better education and freedom. We start-off by staying in my Aunt's house and then move to an apartment in Mississauga. -
My family migrated to Oakville to live in a house
My family moved to Oakville to live in a bigger house. My relatives are much closer to each other in Oakville so my parents decided to keep this bond strong by moving to Oakville when buying a house.
