My Personal Media Timeline

When I was a kid, I'm fond of watching movies on TV, its either noontime shows or cartoons movies. Together with my siblings, cousins and friends, were watching cartoons like Dora the Explorer. I also watch some noontime shows like Showtime every weekdays and ASAP every weekend. Television (TV), a form of mass media based on the electronic delivery of moving images and sound from a source to a receiver. It is one of the most important and popular forms of communication.

The full form of DVD is Digital Versatile Disc. DVD is a digital optical disc storage format which was developed and invented in 1995 and used to store high-capacity files, such as top-standard videos and movies. Long ago, DVD is quite popular because Cignal has not been invented yet, or at that time we just can't afford to buy Cignal. We used to buy different tapes which contains of different movies and through DVD, we connect it to our TV and watch the tapes that we bought.

The keypad phone is a type of phone that has a keypad rather than a touchscreen. Keypad phones are phones that have physical keypads on the device. I used to borrow my Papa's keypad phone. I usually play games like Titres or Snakes there, and also play music or taking pictures.

YouTube is a video on demand platform that allows creators to upload and share video content. As soon as my Papa bought us smartphone I usually watch videos on YouTube. Sometimes I watch funny videos and some cartoons movies. Together I watch with my siblings because we're sharing in using our cellphone.

A smartphone, often simply called a phone, is a mobile device that combines the functionality of a traditional mobile phone with advanced computing capabilities. We got our first ever smartphone when I was 8 years old, it was a Samsung Galaxy. It was a gift from my Papa because we're doing well in our school, he gave it as a rewards to me and my siblings.

I discovered Google when I was in my seventh grade. I used it usually if I have to search something about the lessons or sometimes if there's an assignment that needs to searched. And until now I still use it to gain some information about some lessons. Google has become an integral part of our lives, influencing various aspects of our daily routines. From finding information to connecting with others, Google plays a crucial role in how we navigate the digital world.

My cousin introduce me this media and then she's the one who make my Facebook account. That account is what I'm using until now, I just change the name of it as time passed by. Facebook is a website which allows users, who sign-up for free profiles, to connect with friends, work colleagues or people they don't know, online. It allows users to share pictures, music, videos, and articles, as well as their own thoughts and opinions with however many people they like.

Wattpad is a website for reading and publishing original written fiction and connecting with fellow writers and readers, most popular genre are romance.As pandemic strikes in year 2019, I discovered wattpad.It amazes me how the writer make those amazing stories. I usually finished one series which contains 4-6 stories, in a day. It contains different genres with breathtaking plots. Some scenes were related from reality but mostly it was from authors imagination.

I got to use laptop one time, when my tito bring his laptop and he let me borrow it for a while. He teach me how to use it properly so that I can use it without problem. A laptop is a portable computer that can be easily carried around. It's a device designed for personal use and can perform various functions such as browsing the internet, creating documents, playing games, etc. Laptops are generally smaller in size than desktop computers and are battery powered.

When I was in my seventh grade, I get to use desktop computer because our TLE is IT. Our subject teach us the basics in using the desktop computer . A desktop computer is a personal computer designed for regular use at a stationary location on or near a desk due to its size and power requirements. It has a monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, and a computer tower.

iWantTV is the global streaming platform owned and operated by ABS-CBN. The home of Filipino stories, the platform's vast content library spans over 60 years of entertainment, news and information, documentaries, music and sports, among others. I just installed this on my device because I've been watching 'He's Into Her' a wattpad story adaptation of Belle and Donny. After watching it, I uninstalled it afterwards.

Tiktok is an app used by young people as an outlet to express themselves through singing, dancing, comedy, and lip-syncing, and allows users to create videos and share them across a community. It so interesting to watch my cousin watching different people dancing, singing or do silly things in this media. That's why I installed Tiktok in my cellphone as I got my first ever cellphone. It was so nice because I got to be updated in the trends they're talking about sometimes.

Instagram is a free photo and video sharing app available on iPhone and Android. People can upload photos or videos to our service and share them with their followers or with a select group of friends. Just like my other apps, I used this to keep updated as what my favorite idols is posting. Also I'm watching reels and posting stories sometimes. It's also the my other way of communication with my friends if I'm not active in Facebook.

Bilibili began to expand to a broader audience from its original niche market that focused on animation, comics, and games (ACG), and it has become a major Chinese over-the-top streaming platform serving videos on demand such as documentaries, variety shows, and other original programming. This comes first before Loklok, but I uninstalled this and get Loklok instead because for me the quality of Loklok is more nice than Bilibili.

Loklok is an online video streaming platform. It allows users to watch and access various films, TV shows, and more. This the substitute of Bilibili for me. I watch different movies and series here.

X (formerly Twitter) is an online news and social networking site where people communicate in short messages. The hope is that your words are useful and interesting to someone in your audience. I just opened my X when I was bored and I was just scrolling through my feed and watch some updates from my favorite idols.

I just recently discovered this app. This app helps me to be updated about my favorite kpop. I usually open this if they post something; a picture, an update, sometimes is a live.Former called as Vlive.Weverse (also stylized as WeVerse; Korean: 위버스) is a South Korean mobile app and web platform created by South Korean entertainment company HYBE Corporation.Weverse is all about fans and artist interaction in an all new avatar, not typically seen on other social media platforms like X or Facebook.
