When I was 4 years old, I encountered newspapers for the first time because of our neighbors. They would often share their newspapers with us or talk about the latest news. This introduction to print media opened up a new way for me to learn about current events and stories happening around the world. Television
When I was around 5 years old, I encountered television because my parents bought a TV. With this new also, I was able to look into beautiful cartoons and for children educational channels. Television programs such as "Sesame Street" and "Dora the Explorer" got importance quickly, providing viewers with enjoyment and educational value. As a family, we started to enjoy TV together while spending time together and enjoying interesting tales and beautiful sights. -
Telephone
While visiting my grandma in Cebu, I encountered a telephone for the first time. My grandma had one in her house, and I was curious about how it worked. I watched her use it to make calls and was amazed by how she could talk to people far away just by dialing numbers. This experience introduced me to a new way of communication and sparked my curiosity about how telephones connect people. I was around 6 years old at the time. -
Digital Versatile Disc (DVD)
I encountered DVDs because my father loved to play music. He had a big collection, including old shows and music videos of his favorite artists. I remember being very involved while watching these performances with him. This experience made me appreciate music more by seeing the powerful performances and understanding the artists' passion. The time spent with my father and the DVDs greatly influenced my love for music. -

I first encountered a computer when my cousin Reycon tried to get me to play a game called Crossfire. He was really excited about it and thought I’d enjoy it too. I decided to give it a try, and as we played together, I found the game fascinating. This was my first real experience with a computer and it sparked my interest in technology and gaming. -
Cellphone
I first saw a cellphone when my uncle gave one to my mother. I was very curious, so I spent a lot of time exploring it and trying out its features. I was amazed that such a small device could make calls, send texts, take pictures, and browse the internet. This experience made me interested in technology. It started my interest in how technology affects everyday life. -
Facebook
After I encountered a cellphone, I learned about different apps, including Facebook, because many neighbors used it. I became interested in Facebook after seeing how active everyone was on it. Noticing my interest, my sister decided to create an account for me. She showed me how to set it up, interact with friends and family, and use its features. This helped me stay connected with people and keep up with news and events. -
YouTube
When I was 11 years old, I discovered YouTube because I was curious about new ways to find videos and entertainment. I found it interesting because I could watch all kinds of videos on it. I spent a lot of time exploring different channels and content. It became a fun way for me to learn new things and enjoy various kinds of entertainment. -
Messenger
I first started using the Messenger application. I learned about it from friends or family who were already using it to chat and stay in touch. It was a new way for me to communicate with people, share messages, and even send photos and videos. This experience made it easier for me to keep up with friends and family in a more interactive way. -
