LAPTOP
I first encountered a laptop when I was 5 years old. A laptop is a portable computer that is small enough to use on one's lap, has its main components (a keyboard and display screen) combined in one unit, and can run on battery power. Using a laptop was a memorable experience for me because my cousin and I played games and watched movies together, especially our favorite movie, The Power Rangers. -

TELEVISION
I was also 5 years old when I encountered television, just like I did with the laptop. The first time I saw it, I was amazed by how huge it was and how the characters in the movie appeared so large. Television is a system for transmitting visual images and sound that are reproduced on screens, primarily used to broadcast programs for entertainment, information, and education. -

NEWSPAPER
A newspaper is a printed publication (usually issued daily or weekly) consisting of folded, unstapled sheets that contain news, feature articles, advertisements, and correspondence. It was actually a fun experience and an engaging activity for me because newspapers helped me gain new knowledge. -

PORTABLE DVD PLAYER
A portable DVD player is a mobile, battery-powered DVD player in the format of a mobile device. Many recent players play files from USB flash drives and SD cards.I remember having one of those when I was 10 years old. It was great for watching movies while doing my assignment, and it even had a little screen that could be adjusted to different angles. I'd often set it up on the kitchen table and watch my favorite Barbie movie while my mother was busy cooking dinner. -

KEYPAD CELLPHONE (Samsung)
This device is a keypad cellphone, a mobile phone that uses a physical keypad for input, as opposed to a touchscreen. These phones are typically characterized by their compact size and durable build. I remember having one of these back in the day, and I loved how rugged it was. It could survive anything, and I never had to worry about cracking the screen. Plus, it was so easy to use, even with one hand. -

CAMERA
My aunt Jessa has this device, and I usually borrow it because I love filming and taking pictures. The first time I saw this camera, I fell in love with it. When I think of this camera, it gives me chills down my spine because it holds so many memories—memories that make me want to go back to where they happened. A camera is a device for recording visual images in the form of photographs, film, or video signals. -

SAMSUNG
I was 11 years old when my brother gave me this mobile phone. One of my favorite apps that I usually use is the Note app because, before, I was so invested in writing stories and poems. I love that I can write down my ideas easily and it's great for quickly sketching out story outlines or brainstorming. This device is a smaller version of a tablet that can access a cellular radio system, so it can be used over a wide area without a physical connection to a network; it is a mobile phone. -

COMPUTER
I was 12 years old when I encountered this device. This device was called a computer that accepts information (in the form of digitalized data) and manipulates it for some result based on a program, software, or sequence of instructions on how the data is to be processed. It was our TLE teacher who taught us how to properly use it, and it opened up new skills that I can use in the future. I remember being fascinated by the way the computer could process information so quickly. -

I was 13 when I used this tablet.
