TELEVISION( dvd player)
Before I was born, television was already available in my grandparents house.Tiya, my mother's sister, is the one who bought that tv, so that if we feel bored we can always open the tv to keep us entertained. As a kid, I always loved to watch cartoons on the tv, especially the cartoon's movie named ' the emperor's new groove", since only dvds are allowed to play on the tv because it has no antenna. I also watched comedy and action dramas as it was my family' s favorite kind of movie. -
RADIO
Radio was my lolo and lola's favorite media, as they can listen to music even when they are doing something, which is why I got to love radio. When I was 7 years old, I memorized a particular song that I heard from the radio, and that song became my favorite. Except for listening to music, I also love radio because, every saturday and sunday, I got the chance to hear other people's stories about their lives or their love life where I can get a lot of lessons from their experiences. -
BOOK
When I was in elementary, I met the bilingual book that taught me how to read simple words and sentences. It is a Filipino book, also known as the ABAKADA book where the pronunciation of the words are written alphabetically, what the word looks like are also shown, and some simple sentences are also provided to state how words are used in the sentence. As a child who is new to the environment of elementary, this book really gave me a lot of knowledge about those simple words and sentences. -
NEWSPAPER
When i first encountered the newspaper, it was used as decoration in a project of one of my aunts. I asked her what kind of paper she was using to design her project, she then explained to me what newspaper was. After hearing what the newspaper is, the first idea that came to my mind is " ahh it's like a radio but a written one " . Then later on, I learned that newspapers are not only for acquiring information, but also used in decoration and arts. -
PORTABLE DVD PLAYER
When I was 8 years old, I saw Barbie on the Portable Dvd player for the first time. The Portable Dvd player is owned by my Tiyo's wife, and I always come to their house just to watch animated movies like Barbie and Cinderella. It was fun to watch but it was way too small for us to fit without crowding to one side of the house. -
TOUCH SCREEN CELLPHONE
I used a touch screen cellphone for the first time when I was in 7th grade. Since our house is far from the school, my uncle gave me a touch screen cellphone since he had a new one. And it was also the first time where I made my social media accounts and my first time to chat using social media accounts. -
FACEBOOK
The first time I created my social media account was on Facebook. It was also my first time to experience sharing post, videos, and my profile pictures. I also got to chat with people like my classmates, my elementary batch mates and people I barely know. And my first time reading stories posted by authors on Facebook with different genres and plot twists. I also watch anime entitled Naruto Shippuden in Facebook and it was my first ever anime. -
GOOGLE
I first encountered Google when our teacher in TLE in 7th grade taught us how to cite a valid or factual information on the internet. He also taught us how to make our own Gmail accounts and how to send messages through Gmail. Google became my companion everytime I had a question about some words that I first met or sometimes when I'm having trouble understanding our activities in school. -
YOUTUBE
Because of Youtube, I became fond of watching cooking and mukbang videos. Everytime I open my Youtube, different kinds of foods can be seen in my feeds, and I tend to get hungry just by watching those videos. I also installed Youtube for the purpose of downloading videos of our lessons in the subjects where I find it difficult to understand, also to review what I learned from the teacher's discussions. -
TIKTOK
My first time seeing Tiktok is when I was scrolling through my Facebook feed, then I saw a compilation edits of the anime series named Naruto Shippuden. Later, I found out that it was from Tiktok since it has the watermark of Tiktok included in the videos. After that, i became fond of watching anime edits and other videos on Tiktok. And recently, i became attached to stories posted on Tiktok or what this generation called alternate universe (au). -
BILIBILI
I installed Bilibili because a friend of mine recommended me a series that has a complete episode in Bilibili. It was a nice app since you can download the series and watch them offline anywhere even without having a signal and you can adjust the quality whatever you want. Since then, I have always used Bilibili to download new series that I want to watch. -
WATTPAD
I installed Wattpad because of the influence of my friends. They always talked about how nice and enjoyable the stories they are reading and how shocking the plot twists that the author made . And so, I installed Wattpad because of how provoking their words are, and indeed reading it was as if I were the main character of the story. -
INSTAGRAM
Recently, I got curious about what Instagram is since many teenagers installed it, so I try installing it and making an account. At first, I didn't explore it and just making an account since I am not familiar with the app. But then I discovered that it was like Facebook where you can make friends and chat with them. So I started following my favorite actors and K-pop groups to keep me updated about what happened to their daily lives. -
PINTEREST
I always heard Pinterest everytime people talked about a good reference photo. Like everytime we had a project that involves photo, they always says that Pinterest is a good app that can provide photo of your preference. And when I try, it was indeed a good app, because you can easily download a photo that you chose as long as you have an internet connection. And today, I always use Pinterest to find a reference for my project design and sometimes I download photo for my wallpaper.
