By the year 2010, I had first encountered television when I was 3 years old. I already watched television; my favorite channel is ABS-CBN since I love to watch TV Patrol in order to get reliable information or news about what is happening in our country. Television is a system for transmitting visual images and sound that are reproduced on screens, chiefly used to broadcast programs for entertainment, information, and education. -
Radio
The radio is the next form of media. I first heard radio broadcast when I was 4 years old because my grandfather brought it and used it to listen to various kinds of news, music, and entertainment. Radio is the wireless transmission and reception of electric impulses or signals by means of electronic waves. It has been important to have a radio in the past few years because it helps us to stay informed about what is happening in our community, country, or in the entire world. -
Keypad
In 2013, I was exposed to a keypad phone because my parents had it before and I was always borrowing their phone to play games such as snake game and nitro racing. A keypad is a miniature keyboard or pad of buttons set with an arrangement of digits, symbols, or alphabetical letters. Pads mostly containing numbers and used with computers are numeric keypads. -
Newspaper
In 2013, I encountered newspapers because of my grandfather, since he always bought them since he liked to read news or articles to stay updated or informed on the latest news. As 6 years old, the best part for me was to answer the crossword puzzle. A newspaper is a paper that is printed and distributed usually daily or weekly and that contains news, articles of opinion, features, and advertising. -
Computer
In 2014,I was exposed to computer because our neighboor has a computer shop so I always go there to play games and watched videos.A computer is a machine that can be programmed to automatically carry out sequences of arithmetic or logical operations. Modern digital electronic computers can perform generic sets of operations known as programs. These programs enable computers to perform a wide range of tasks. -
Smartphone
In 2019, I was exposed to mobile phones. My first mobile phone was a cloudfone that my aunt gave me as a birthday gift. A smartphone, often simply called a phone, is a mobile device that combines the functionality of a traditional mobile phone with advanced computing capabilities. It typically has a touchscreen interface, allowing users to access a wide range of applications and services, such as web browsing, email, and social media, as well as multimedia. -
Facebook and Messenger
2019 when I started using Facebook and Messenger. As a child, I enjoyed watching funny videos and chatting with my friends and family relatives who were away from us since they were working. Facebook and Messenger is a mobile app that enables chat, voice, and video communications between the social media site's web-based messaging and smartphones. -
Snapchat
In 2019, I was exposed to Snapchat because of the influence of my sister. As a first-timer, I always take pictures and then make them into a profile picture on Facebook, and I couldn't stop using it since it was convenient to use. I love to take selfies every day with the different emojis, filters, and effects of this application. Snapchat is a mobile app that allows users to send and receive "self-destructing" photos and videos. Photos and videos taken with the app are called snaps. -
YouTube
In 2020, I encountered YouTube because of the influence of my mother,since she told me that I would install this app to search for an educational vlog and a tutorial on how to cook fried chicken since it is my favorite food and cooking is one of my hobbies. YouTube is a popular video-sharing platform that allows registered users to upload videos of their own as well as to watch videos posted by other users. -
Tiktok
Nowadays, TikTok is one of the most popular apps in the world. However, at the age of 13 years old, it was the first time I encountered the TikTok apps because of the influence of my best friend. She encouraged me to use it since I love to dance. TikTok is a social media platform for creating, sharing, and discovering short videos. The app is used to express themselves through singing, dancing, comedy, and lip-sync. -
Instagram
Year 2022, when I exposed myself to the Instagram app since all of my classmates have been using it. As a 15-year-old, I was curious about this app, so I installed it immediately, and then I followed some popular celebrities here in the Philippines. Instagram is a free photo and video sharing app available on iPhone and Android. People can upload photos or videos to our service and share them with their followers or with a select group of friends. -
Canva
The year 2022 was the first time I encountered Canva because my best friend introduced it to me, so I downloaded it immediately. This app can provide what the students need, such as searching for project designs and making resumes. As a 15-year-old, I used this app to make my project more attractive and nice, and it is easy to edit, so I can save my time. Canva is a free-to-use online graphic design tool. Use it to create social media posts, presentations, posters, videos, logos, and more.
