The first time I watched television is when I was 3 years old, because when I was a child, my grandfather took care of me, and he loved watching television. RADIO
The first time I heard the radio was in our neighborhood, when I heard the lively music and news broadcasts coming from a nearby house, where our neighbor would turn on the radio every afternoon. A radio is a device that receives and transmits audio signals via electromagnetic waves, allowing users to listen to broadcasts such as music, news, and talk shows. It operates by tuning into specific frequencies to access various radio stations, and can come in both analog and digital formats. -
TELEPHONE
When I was 5 years old, I encountered the telephone when we went on vacation to my aunt’s house, because they use two telephones in their house. A telephone is a communication device that enables voice conversations between users over a distance by converting sound into electrical signals. Traditionally featuring a handset with a dial or keypad, it has evolved into various forms, including landlines, mobile phones, and internet-based VoIP systems. -
NOKIA
I was able to use a keypad phone because my mom had one, and I used to borrow it sometimes. A Nokia is typically features a traditional numerical layout with physical buttons arranged in a grid, including a central directional pad for navigation and selection. This design provides tactile feedback and ease of use for texting and dialing, reflecting the classic mobile phone experience. -
TABLET
This is my very first gadget that I owned. My dad gave it to me when I was in third grade because I'm good at school. A tablet is a portable, touchscreen device that combines the functionality of a computer and smartphone into a single unit. It is designed for tasks such as browsing the internet, watching videos, and running applications, typically featuring a sleek, slim profile for easy mobility. -
COMPUTER
I learned to use a computer when I was in grade 5 because I had friends who always invited me to play crossfire on the computer.
A computer is an electronic device that processes data according to a set of instructions called a program, data management, and automation. It also enables a wide range of activities, including playing complex video games, thanks to its powerful hardware components like the CPU, memory, and graphics processing unit (GPU), as well as versatile software. -
FACEBOOK AND MESSENGER
This is where I was first exposed to social media. My mom created my account here because I don't know how, but I want to have Facebook because my friends already have it. Facebook is a social media platform that allows users to connect with friends, share updates, photos, and videos, and engage in various communities and events. Messenger, a companion app to Facebook, provides instant messaging, voice, and video call features, enabling real-time communication with contacts. -
SMARTPHONE
When I graduated from elementary school, my dad gave me a cell phone as my graduation gift. A smartphone is a handheld device that combines a mobile phone with advanced computing capabilities. It typically features a touchscreen interface and offers access to a wide range of applications and services, such as web browsing, email, and multimedia playback. -
LAPTOP
I was able to use a laptop because when dad came home from the ship he bought a laptop, and I borrow it from him sometimes to play games and watch movies. A laptop is a portable computer with an integrated screen, keyboard, and battery, designed for use on the go. It combines the functionality of a desktop computer with the convenience of mobility, making it ideal for both work and entertainment. -
INSTAGRAM
The first time I used Instagram was during the pandemic days; it just crossed my mind to download Instagram because I was bored. Instagram is a social media platform focused on sharing photos and videos, allowing users to create and explore visual content through posts, stories, and reels. It also offers features for direct messaging, commenting, and following other users, making it a popular tool for personal expression and connection. -
TIKTOK
I downloaded TikTok because of a viral video of a cute girl on TikTok that I saw on Facebook because someone posted her there. She got my attention, so I downloaded TikTok, and until now I'm still using TikTok. TikTok is a social media platform that allows users to create, share, and discover short-form videos set to music or audio clips. Its algorithm-driven feed promotes viral trends and diverse content, engaging users through a blend of creativity and entertainment.
