Starting out
I Began my trip with my pack on my back, ready to go. Phoenix started her journey on foot, with the addition of her cane. -
Hiking through the woods
I hiked through the enchanted forrest and other trails. Phoenix traveled through the woods and up hills -
Getting Caught
After going up an extremely steep hill, I felt my throat closing up and knew my journey was ended. Phoenix gets caught in a bush, halting her trip for a moment. -
The fallen tree
We came across a tree that fell in a previous rainstorm and decided to have fun going around it. A log blocks Phoenix's path but she carries on. -
Bickering
Tired and frustrated, some other girls in the group began to argue and we had to stop to sort it out. Phoenix is attacked by a dog and needs help going bac k on her journey. -
Destination
We finally made it to the top of cold mountain, exhausted from our journey but in love with the beautiful green scenery we could see. Phoenix arrives in Natchez, decorated with red and green lights, after her long and perilous journey.
