My Mom crosses the border
It was 1999 when my mom went to the U.S, my grandpa had papers to be able to go to the U.S and he tol my mom that she is coming with him to the U.S. -
My Dad comes to the U.S (Went through the desert)
My Dad went through the hot scorching desert with his sisters and he was the youngest of them all, it was hard for him to cross the desert but he didn't give up. -
My mom finally crosses the border
When my mom went through the border she thought of all those people that go through the desert and those that get on a dangerouse train called "La Bestia". -
My Mom has a hard time in the U.S
My Mom had a hard time and it wasn't easy for her to handle everything alone sense my grandpa sometimes goes to Mexico and my mom is alone.It was hard for her to speak english in school and it was also hard for her to get money to buy food. -
My Mom stays in the U.S
When my mom went to the U.S and lived with my grandpa she didn't know that she was going to live and stay in the U.S. -
My Parents and when I was born
When I was born my mom and dad did whatever it took to keep me safe and that I was healthy.They always put food in the table and they would also keep me from danger. -
My Parents and the Day my Sister was Born
My Parents had to work extra hard sense there is a new family member that is my sister, they are working harder than they ever did and they will do anything to give us a better future. -
My Family goes to Mexico for a Trip
This was about one year ago and My Family and I go to Mexico to see our family members that live there but my dad can't because he doesn't have the papers.My sister and I see where our parents lived and how it was for them. -
My Dad Works hard
My Dad is a hard worker and he has about two jobs and works on those jobs at the same days mostly.His first job is in a Swamp Meet and his second job is working in a restaurant.He wants us to have a great life and that is why my dad works hard. -
My Mom Takes care of us
MY mom is the person that loves my sister and I and she always protects us from bad things and she teaches us the right things to do in life, for example she shows us what is healthy for us and to make good choices.
