  • Death of a father

    My father died in September the year that I was three years old. All I remember of my father is tears.

  • First Year of University

  • Moving Away

    When I was 19 I moved for the first time. I moved away from my family, outside of the province. I had to get away and become my own person.

    Moving Around

    From 1999 to 2004 I moved 16 times, between three countries, and in many provinces. I couldn't put down roots. I got my TESL Certification so I could travel, and discovered that I loved teaching more then traveling. I decided to move to Regina to get my teaching degree.

    Second University, TESL Certificate

    I decided I wanted to travel, so I got my TESL Certificate

    Finally settling down, but not settling

    I moved to Regina and have shockingly found a home here. I love it and no longer feel the need to travel.

    Third University! BA.

    I didn't get accepted into the BEd program, and so I worked toward my BA instead as a stepping stone toward my goal.

  • A real teacher

    I graduated with my BEaD, and started my career

  • Beginning my Masters
