My Media Timeline

Electronic television was first successfully demonstrated in San Francisco on Sept.7,1927.Television is a machine with a screen or set of lenses.It receive broadcasting signals and change them into pictures and sound. I can still recall, to relieve my boredom back then when i was a kid i only depend on TV for entertainment,i always enjoyed watching tv shows,dramas,and movies at home.And as being exposed to TV,it broadens my knowledge and discovery about new things.

Radio has the ability to reach across the borders and can become a valuable source of information where reliable news is scarce.It is cheap to use that's why it is used by an overwhelming majority of people.In radio,you cannot only hear news but also dramas like papa joe.I can still recall,at exactly 1:00 pm that time we always on our radio to listen papa joe,together with my family,we sat on the couch and listen to it.At some point,it became our family bonding and it really entertain us.

A newspaper is a publication containing news, information, and advertising, usually printed in low-cost paper called newsprint. It carry the news of the world and help us get acquainted with the current affairs of the world. Making a habit of reading newspaper daily increases the chances of better reading with good vocabulary. As i recall, the first time i read newspaper is when i was in 5th grade,you can read a lot of daily news and there is also a word puzzle that can entertain you.

The first handheld cellular phone call was made on 1973, by Motorola engineer Martin Cooper. Cellphones are handheld devices that allows people to communicate, and serve many important functions. As a student, cellphone is a very useful device, it helps me in managing my time, and also helps me in my studies by using any various of learning apps. Through cellphone, it makes our live easy and convenient. It can also be used for entertainment, that's why it is one of the best inventions today.

Youtube is an American online video sharing and social media platform. It was launched on 2005, by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim. Youtube is proved to be an effective educational tool and provide interesting, knowledgeable, and engaging content which has added a new dimension to education by making it innovative as well as creative. So, as a student, youtube is a useful media that can help me to improve my skills and learn complex concept.

It is very influential nowadays because it provides anything you need to know about something, seeing that google is a very popular source of ideas and information. This platform enables thousands of students to access the quality of education with colaboration tools with a primary focus of enhancing the traditional way of teaching and learning. This app really helps me in my studies, and i also discover new things because of this media platform.

Facebook was first founded in 2004, and has become extremely popular since then, especially from a marketing perspective. Facebook is a website which allows us to sign up for free, and to connect with friends, families, and even people that we don't know,online. In facebook, we can also share pictures, videos, music, as well as our thoughts and opinions. To be specific, it is a media that typically used for social interaction and access to news and information, and decision making.

Tiktok is a social media platform for creating, sharing, and discovering short videos. Tiktok is a stress-reliever. This app is mostly used by you people as an outlet to express themselves through singing, dancing, and comedy, and allows users to create videos and share them across a community. It also provides information and news. I got interested to this app when the pandemic came. This app entertains and provides easy joy to me,it relieves my boredom at home and i also learn new things here.
