My parents met
My Life-
Both Tania and Jim had moved to Florida after graduating high school in Massachusetts but didn't knwo eachother. Until my mom moved in with her friend on January 19th 1997, where she met my dad. -
Got our first cat
My Life-
After my parents met in Florida, they decided to get a cat and named him TK. He was only a kitten when they got him and when they moved back to Rhode Island,because I was on the way, they brought him too. We had TK up until 2 years ago when he died in October of 2013at the age of 16. -
Birth of Marissa Sloper
My Life-
On June 12th, 1998 I, Marissa Sloper, was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts at Sturdy Memorial Hosptial. My parents, Tania Scholtes and Jim Sloper rushed to the hosptial around 6 am and I was delievered around 10 am -

Vajpayee, Prime Minister of India, met Pakistani's President, Pervez Musharraf in the fitst summit between two neighboring counties in two years. The summit ended with differences over Kashmir. -

The United States lifts sanctions which is imposed against in Pakistan and India after the false nuclear tests in the alte 1990's. -

India imposes sanctions against Pakistan, to force action between 2 Kashmir militant groups accused of suicide attacks on parliament. Pakistan follows and does similar sanctions and gets rid of the groups in January. -
Inter religious bloodshed
Inter religious bloodshed breaks out after about 60 Hindu piligrims returning back to India are killed in a train fire. Over 1,000 people died due to such violence. Police and goverment officials thought the fire was because of Muslim Mob but then later discovered it was an acciident. -
Bought our first house
My Life-
On April 3rd 2002, my parents and I moved to 34 East Earle Street Cumberland Rhode Island. That was our first house as a family because before that we loived in an appartment in Cumberland. -
Got my first dog
On February 14th, 2004, Valentine's Day, I got my first dog. We went to Debbie's Pet Land in the mall and found a golden retriever. We bought him and named him Wyatt. He was only 3 months old then and loved to play with sticks in the backyard. Now, Wyatt is 10 years old, going to be 11 in November. -
My Great Grandfather died
My Life-
On Agust 19th, 2004 at the age of 82, my great grandfather Donald Sloper passed away. He was a war vetran in World War 2 and fought for our country. He later married Mary Lane and together had 5 children and 10 grandchildren. He ended up smoking too much cigarettes which was the cause of his death. -
Tidal waves
Thousands of Indian's are killed due to tidal waves caused by an undersea earthquake off the Indonesian Coast. -
My first trip to Disney World
My Life-
July 9th 2005 was one of the most exciting days of my life, my first trip to Disney! I went with my parents and my grandparents and it was my first time on a plane. We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort and went to the parks everyday. -

The United States and India signa nuclear agreement during a visit with Us President George W Bush. India was given access to civilian nuclear technology. -

I went to Florida for Cheerleading
My Life-
On April 4th, 2013 I got a plane with my bestfriend and we flew down to Florida for our cheerleading competition. We stayed at a hotel with the rest of our cheerleading gym and got to go to Universal everyday, which was where we competed. We ended up winning first place and got National Champion jackets. -
I get my license
My Life-
Somewhere around December 12th 2014, I will be taking my road test to get my license. I get my permit on my birthday, June 12th so 6 months after that is when I get my license. I will already have a car by then so I will be able to drive to school, my dads house, etc. -
Class of 2016 Graduation
My Life-
The Cumberland High School class of 2016 will graduate. The graduation is held at the Providence Performing Arts Center around 6 pm. There, I and my cvlassmates will recieve our diplomas and will have officially graduated from CHS. -
Natural disaster
Due to the past natural disasters occuring in India, I predict that around 2020, India will get hit with another undersea earthquake, killing civilians.
