My Birth
Day 1 ! -
Start of my Education
On this day, I walked into my Kindergarden class, and my education journey began. I attended Ben D. Quinn elementary school. -
Andrew Arrived!
My baby brother Andrew was born! -
Bible Competitions
In the first grade, I began competing in the Free Will Baptist Bible Competition. The first few years, I sang and participated in Bible memorization. Later in my life, I also did Bible sworddrill, tic-tac-toe, ensemble, piano solo and duet and drama. -
Started Piano Lessons
In the firth grade, I began taking piano lessons. My life was forever changed and drastically influenced by music. -
Near Death Experience
On the way home from a UNC basketball game, family members and I were in a car accident. I was the only one with injuries. I had four, quater sized holes in my intestines and 2 tears as well. Also, I broke a bone in my back. The recovery was long and required weeks in the hospital and months out of school. -
Started Voice Lessons
This year, I began taking voice lessons from Melody Long. I have been taking lessons from her ever since. -
Love of my Life
I began dating my best friend. Can't imagine my life without him! -
Kenley Arrived!
My baby brother Kenley was born! Love him to pieces! -
Boot Camp
This day, my boyfriend left for Marine basic training. He stayed at Parris Island, SC, for three solid months. The only communication we had was weekly letters. I must stay, those were some of the hardest days of my life; I learned a lot about life, grew up and stronger, determined my priorities and learned how to carry on. Plus my writing skills flourished, because I wrote multiple letters to Ethan every day. -
Started at UNCC
I moved to Charlotte, NC, and began attending college. -
Boot Camp Graduation
Ethan graduated from Marine basic training. No more letters! I missed him terribly, but I am so proud of him! -
Transfered
I decided to transfer to Pitt Community college in pursuit of a degree in medical sonography. So I packed up my stuff and moved back home to New Bern, NC. -
Started Attending Pitt
I began my journey at Pitt Community College! -
Reunited!
For the first time, my dad and I began forming a true relationship! I'm so happy to have him and other family members in my life!
