In basketball, players used to wear "short shorts". However Michael Jordan liked to wear his college shorts under his NBA ones so he started to wear long shorts. This trend caught on and now everyone wears "long shorts". -
The Day I Was Born
I was born in Chicago, IL. because my dad was playing for the Bears at the time. My mom said that I was ten pounds when I was born. -
Going to the Superbowl
I went to the Super Bowl when I was very little because my dad was playing in it. This was very important to me because not many people get that opportunity. My dad is #82 by the way. -
My little cousin passes away
My little cousin Elsie passed away 3 years ago, this was the first time I've been old enough to understand someone passing away. -
Going to Africa
I went to Africa on a humanitarian trip in 5th grade. While I was there we did a lot of service for the schools there, like building desks for over 100 kids and breaking ground for a hospital that is now built. It was a real eye opener to see the poverty there versus here in the US. It really taught me how to be grateful for everything cause there are people out there who have nothing. -
First Day of 8th Grade
The first day of 8th grade was pretty fun! It was nice to get back into the swing of things,meet all my teachers, and get back to waking up early. No homework, so that's a plus.
