Adoption
I was adopted from Seoul Korea and brought to Canada at the age of 2 months old. My mom and dad were already in Canada so I met them in Toronto, not Korea. The flight to Canada was long, about 13 hours and apparently I cried the whole time. 2003 -
My trip to Mexico
I took my first trip to Mexico.
I went to Playa Del Carmen and it was one of the best trips of my life. I found my first seashells and I saw my first dolphin. That day we arrived I was afraid but the last day of our trip I wanted to stay their for the next year! 2006 -
My first day of school
My first day of school.
I was probably screaming and crying. I remember it was one of the most terrifying days of my life! I remember considering if I should drop and run. My kindergarten teacher was super nice to me. 2007 -
My cousin was born
My cousin was born.
I was so excited to have my first female cousin. I had a male cousin but he was no fun to play with. I was so happy when she was born because that meant I would have a cousin to play dolls and animals with! 2007 -
My trip to London
I went to London.
I was really happy I was about to board the plane to London. I was visiting my friends and it was my first time there. When we arrived it was different than Toronto in a few ways. The moment we stepped out of that yellow taxi I jumped up and down and squealed. 2006 -
My Dog
I got my dog.
When we got my dog I was so excited. I had never had a dog before so I was pumped. I knew what we were going to name her and once I saw her I knew that it was the perfect name, Lola. She was a curious dog and she would always try and climb the stairs, it never worked though. 2010 -
My Brother Graduated From Kew
My brother graduated from Kew.
I was sad that he was going to Glen Ames and not Kew Beach. I did not like the fact that I wouldn’t have my brother to pick me up when I fell down. I knew that I would still see him but not every day at school. I miss him not being here with me, but I know he belongs in grade 11 and not stuck at grade 6. 2010 -
I Went to Kemur
I went to Kemur for the first time.
I wanted all my life to go to horse camp but I never got to it. When my mom said I could go to camp Kemur with my friends I was so excited. Kemur was great. There were so many horses, and even a llama! It was so fun! 2011 -
I had my first Dance Comp.
I had my first Dance competition.
I was so nervous. I had never competed in a competition in anywhere other that my dance studio. I guessed I would mess up but I didnt! I was so happy when we won 2nd place out of ten other dances! 2014 -
I saw The Nutcracker Ballet
I saw The Nutcracker Ballet.
At first I didn’t want to go but when I saw a preview I second guessed it and took a chance. When I saw the ballet it inspired me to dance my heart out and embrace the love of ballet. Ballet is hard and when I saw those dancers, it inspired me to dance like I have never done before. 2014
