I was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. I live in Puerto Rico until I was three. -
Move to US
When I was three, my parents moved to Newark, New Jersey and stayed there for two years, then we came back to PR in 1983. -
My second visit
I went back to Newark with my parents and lived there for three more years. I went to a bilingual school and learned english, with my teachers and friends. My family help me because some of my cousins don't speak spanish. -
My first play
I did my frst play in my school with my best friend she was puertorrican too and we have to speak in english in front of the audience. The play was about a flower in a big garden. We were one of the flowers. I was scared to speak english but I did it. -
My live in PR
I've been living in PR since 1990, we moved back to PR and I have'nt lived in US no more, just go and visit for vacations. But those first years living in US help me the rest of my life, because the language I leraned I have'nt forgot it. At the present still helping me, I graduated from collage and I'm working in a bilingual school and starting my Bilingual Certification.
