Moving
When I was almost 3 we moved from Burlington to Cedar Rapids becuase my dad got a better job here and they wanted to get out of Burlington. I don't remember much just that I didn't like it here because i missed seeing my Grandparents everyday. picture: Creative Commons -
9-11
The World Trade Center's in New York were crashed into by planes and thousands of people died. It was a terrible time and most people wish it never happened. picture: Creative Commons -
Grandma Bennett died
My great Grandma Benny died a few years ago, and I was really close to her. I never knew my great Grandpa Benny though because I was just born when he died. He died from something with his heart. -
Natalie was born
My little sister was born. Her and I are pretty far apart in age and her in my older sister are even farther but i think we have a pretty good relationship. Our house would be really boring without her! -
Parkersburg Tornado
Parkersburg Iowa had a really bad tornado that destroyed the majority of the town. A lot of people went to go help clean up. Picture: Creative Commons -
Flood
In 2008 Cedar Rapids flooded really bad and many people lost their homes. Prairie had a shelter that had clothes and food and cots for people effected to come. I helped at the Clothing station and helped organize all the donated clothes.

Cabin Flooded
Our family's cabin was right across the Mississippi River from Burlington in a little town called Gulf Port, Illinois. My dad's side of the family shared it and we all loved it. It was hard to see it gone because we aren't going to fix it.

New York
My dad used to be a coach and he coached at Monmouth and he played at Georgia Tech and one of his friends from that lives in New York and we haven't seen him in a while so we decided to go visit him and on our way we went to Niagra Falls and we went to New York City.

Disney Land
For my dad's job he has to go to Athletic Directors conference's around the country and the school used to pay for all of his expenses. So one year it was in Anahiem California so my whole family went because we wanted to go to Disney Land. -
Florida
A few summers ago my whole family and I went to Florida. THat is a total of about 37 people. Two of my little cousins and my grandparents didn't go though so all together we have 41 people in our family. -
Earthquake in Japan
Japan had a really bad earthquake it was a 8.1 I think and that was followed by a bad tusunami and that took out a lot of Japan.

Osama Bin Laden
The Navy Seals were working on a plan to kill Osama Bin Laden since Auguest and they finally got him. It was a relief to the American People.
