I was born in Sioux City, IA, the day after Christmas in the middle of a snowstorm.

My family moves to Blair, NE from Cedar, IA when my dad gets a new assignment for Cargill. I am in kindergarten.

Move to Blair House

My dad builds the house of our dreams in Blair and we move in and live there for a little over a year.

Move to Oskaloosa

We move back to Iowa and rent a house in Oskaloosa while my dad builds our new house.

Move to our Oskaloosa House

We move into the house my dad built for us in Oskaloosa. It has the same exact design as our house in Blair except for the paint colors.

Chicago Vacation

My family visits Chicago the summer before my 4th grade year. We get to go to the field museum, the Shedd Aquarium, and do many other really fun things.

Louisville Vacation

I go to Washington DC to compete against kids around the nation in a spelling bee.

My Scoliosis Surgery

I have a surgery to correct my scoliosis (curvature of the spine) and I am in the hospital for a week.

Elementary Graduation

I finish my education as an Eddyville Elementary student in the 6th grade.

San Francisco Vacation

I visit California to see my cousin, Denise, get married. My family visits Alcatraz, goes to the beach, sees sea lions, and wanders around the boardwalk.

We Get Beau!

Move to Oskaloosa Middle School

Chicago Choir Trip

The Oskaloosa High School choir and orchestra takes a trip to Chicago. We see the symphony, the opera, the Shedd Aquarium, the Art Institute, the Field Museum, and many strange people.

I graduate Oskaloosa High School and prepare for college.

I begin college at Notre Dame University.

I graduate from Notre Dame and go on to study in the medical field.

Medical School Begins
