I graduated high school on June 29th, 2010 from Lacombe Composite High School. -
The Month I upgraded High School Courses at Lacombe Outreach School
I began upgrading my social and english courses at the Lacombe Outreach School in October, 2010. -
My Time as a Coach
I coached the Senior Boy's Basketball team for the Lacombe Junior High School beginning in November, 2011 (I think this is the accurate time). This was a pivotal part of my career. My experience as a coach was a major factor as to why I decided to become a teacher. -
My First Year in Post Secondary School
2012 was my first year at Red Deer College. I majored in Political Science. -
The Day I Switched from Political Science to Education
October 12, 2013 was the day I officially decided to become a teacher. -
The Day I Got Accepted into the Middle Years Program
May 25, 2015 was the day I received my letter of acceptance from the University of Alberta. -
Practicum at Westpark Middle School
My five week practicum was at Westpark Middle School teaching grade 6 math, grade 7 science, grade 7 physical education and grade 6/7 recreational education. -
My Practicum at GW Smith School
My extended practicum at GW Smith School started late August, 2016. -
My First Teaching Interview
I had my first teaching interview with Randstad Education on January, 6, 2017. Randstad Education is a company that sends teachers all over the world. -
University Graduation
June 2nd will be the day I officially graduate from University. -
The Day I Plan to Leave for the UK or Australia
I hope to be in the UK or Australia by the beginning of August. This would give me time to prepare for my teaching job in the UK. It would also give me the opportunity to visit Australia and see the sights before I start teaching there. Both these scenarios are dependent on where I end up.
