  • Stalin Dies

    Stalin Dies

    When her mom was in the hospital her sister Connie's arm got stuck in the wringer dryer.

    He aunt worked at the hospital and gave her a picture book.When she got home she got to sleep in her mom and dad bed.

    She went to Brown Street school in Beloit.
  • Her Sister Connie Got Bit By a Horse

    He sister Connie reached up into an apple tree and the horse wanted a apple too.Her grandma had a farm and she grew up in a rural area.

    Her dad was teaching her brother Danny to ring chicken necks. They would also talk to her great-grandma she was from the 1800's.

    Hawaii Becomes 50th State
    Hawaii was a US territory since 1898 but in 1959 Hawaii voted to become a US state. There were many petitions before this but this vote made them officially a state.for more infromation :

  • Moving to Milwaukee

    She attended St.Francis Grade School. They lived on church property and her dad worked for the church. Her mom stayed home until my grandma was 13. Her and her sister were one of the only girls in the neighborhood. There was also a old Chinese lady who lived near them and she taught them paper crafts.
  • March On Washington

    Her cat was trying to run to them after church and a car hit him while he was running across the street. They had many pets while she was growing up.

    At the Lorraine, Motel MLK was killed by James Earl Ray in Memphis, Tennessee. James Earl Ray was later arrested at Heathrow airport in London on April 8, 1968.   • First Man on The Moon

    First Man on The Moon
    The Apollo 11 mission was the mission that got the US on the Moon. During the Space Race we made NASA to beat Russia in space. On this day is when Neil Armstrong Became the first man on the moon.     She moved out of her house at 18 before the end of high school because the house got crowed when connie had twins. In March she moved out.

    She did go back to MATC later but she dropped out after she got pregent

    My aunt Vicky was born in 1973 and my dad later. This was with her frist husband.

  • Vietnam War ended

    Vietnam War ended

  • Moved in with her Mom

    Her mom had cancer and had been diagnosed 4 years earlier but, her condition got worse in 83.
  • Mom died

    Her mom ended up dying from cancer on new years eve at 9:00. She was also mad about a yougn intern saying she would be fine and live.
