In 2004, my favorite writer went to College in the USA where she studied Creative Writing at Iowa State University. She graduated in 2008 with a degree in Writing and a major in Children's literature and Illustration.

In 2009, my favorite writer was awarded the Best Foreign Children's Author of the Year at the Lincoln Books Festival celebrated each year in the fall in Providence, Rhode Island.

In 2010 the author had a car accident and had to be hospitalized for over two years. This was a critical period for her and her creative work, which had to be paused during these times.

In 2013 the author recovered from her accident and went back to her studio where she started writing what would be her best pieces of work "Noah, you are brave", "Mama, don´t you go away" and "Baby seals, my favorite animals".

The author continues her writing. She lives in her studio in Portland, with her two cats Leo and Madison and her biggest passions are baking cakes, reading fantasy and illustrating and writing Children's Literature.
